Verve Hosting has offered the Fantastico one click installer for many years on our hosting plans. For the past few years, Fantastico has been really slow with software updates and has missed their deadline for promised improvements to their software. For those reasons we are phasing out Fantastico and replacing it with Softaculous.

Softaculous is a one click installer that offers nearly 200 scripts that are updated frequently. It offers the option to demo a script before installing it and allows users to rate and comment on the scripts it offers. All applications that were installed by Fantastico will be imported into Softaculous where they can continue to be updated and maintained. You can find the Softaculous installer in your cPanel, under the Software section. We encourage you to start using Softaculous for all new installs. Fantastico will be removed from our servers when the license for each installation expires.
